Anyone Else Struggling In The Heat?

For me it’s definitely partly an age thing & my excess weight definitely doesn’t help. We’re lucky to have cooling sea breezes so it’s hovering somewhere around 31 - I really don’t know how I’d function if it was 40 degrees like some places have! Work is tricky as our store doesn’t have air con. We do at least have quite powerful fans on the tills.

Wearing plastic (hot!hot!hot!) apron and a face mask. Every time I change apron I see the wet sweat patch on the front of my scrubs is bigger and bigger.
Yes I’m struggling. I have to keep mopping sweat off my face. We don’t have fans or AC.
It’s exhausting. Thankfully it won’t last too long.

It's not been too bad so far

Walked the dog at 8 am so he's not been nagging to go

Fans on, windows and curtains closed

Just been in garden then came in and it felt relatively cool in my kitchen

Lost 3 stone this year so DEFINITELY feel better for that!
