Framed prints VS Canvas for a timeless look?

I’d like to get some larger sizes of our wedding photos for the walls, think like a feature picture. I can’t decide whether to go with a canvas or a framed photograph would be better? Does anyone think that canvases might date quickly compared to framed photos? Thanks!

Tbh I always thought canvasses look quite cheap and tacky. Proper framed prints every time, especially for wedding pics.

Framed prints definitely. Canvases are really an acquired taste and to some may look very dated or cheap.

Honestly, oversized wedding photos are a bad look whether as framed photos or on canvas. How big do you mean when you say ‘feature picture’?

I think large photos of your wedding will look dated eventually

BUT, if you must, frames over canvas every time.

I think framed wedding pics sound lovely. They are the kind of thing that might date in the midterm, but as you age they could easily come out again.
I personally cannot stand canvas pics.

Framed for sure. Even you will get sick of seeing your faces blown up to A2 proportions every time you sit down to watch telly.

Framed print, definitely. But do it properly, with a Mount and a good frame.

ChardonnaysBeastlyCat · 18/07/2022 19:09

Not a feature print though.
