Babies Sleep in this heat?

Hi, just wondering what you are planning on doing with your babies at bedtime? We are about 28degrees which I know is cooler than some places.

7month old is currently napping in cot with just nappy on& his monitor keeps beeping that his room is too hot. Had curtains shut all day, windows open as that side of house now in shade. He normally sleeps in baby grow and sleeping bag, but not sure I can even put baby grow on tonight.

Just a nappy here, then I’ll open the windows for a few hours later when it’s cooler and add a light muslin over the top

Curtains and windows closed when the temp rose above room temp. Fans on. Only in a nappy for naps and evening sleep too.

I put a light muslin/blanket over in the early hours when it cools again and we have the windows and curtains open.

Do worry about the drying effects of the fan though...just been offering boob every 5 mins when awake!

35 degrees in my dds room atm, only going to get hotter. I’m moving my mattress down to the living room (coolest room) and co sleeping with her in there tonight and tomorrow.

Nappy and a thin vest, clothing can actually make you cooler as it has a whicking effect.

I’m doing this with my 7 week old and 2 year old, our bedrooms are far too hot despite curtains / blinds / windows being closed all day.

Thanks. Thinking maybe a vest overnight.

I know it’s so hot, but there’s just that bit in my brain that tells me they’ll be cold, irrational I know 😂

That's what I used to do with ds when he was born in a heatwave.

We have been in just a nappy all week here!

They'll wake up if cold.
