Did you get into gaming during the pandemic?

Why did you start and what did you start playing? What do you like about gaming?

I'm 35, don't have any kids but have always wanted a games console and treated myself to a Switch during the pandemic. I love it... I feel like it's really helped with my concentration and general wellbeing. I like having to use logic and solve puzzles. The hot weather will be a good excuse to play this evening.. just picked up Breath of the Wild from eBay, not sure if it's going to be a bit complicated for me though!

I did the same, a switch, also love the puzzle/logic games. I've been playing BOTW for a bit, it does take some getting used to, it took me ages to get the hang of killing enemies and there are many I still run away from. Its quite an amazing game, the size of the world is quite immense and I haven't explored any where near all of it yet. There are some good subreddit's for BOTW that are handy. One main thing I've learnt is not to be scared to die, you just pop back up from your last save which the game does often. It really is a game that you can make it what you want, at the moment I'm enjoying just exploring and the odd challenge, I've not even started the quests yet!

Thanks @Redcherries, I have a feeling I'll be doing a lot of running away from enemies too! I've also found Reddit's gaming subs really useful. Interested to know what other Switch games you've enjoyed?
