How long does it take to receive a new vehicle log book?

Hi,

Does anyone know how long it takes to receive a vehicle log book? For reference, the application is for a new registered keeper not to replace an existing logbook. The previous owner that sold the vehicle (uncle) has lost the logbook.

So does it actually take the full three to four weeks? Anyone received it sooner?

Not done one since March, that took 3 weeks.

I changed my address on mine last week and the new logbook was here within a few days.

I changed my address on my log book a few weeks back. It came back to me in less than a week, maybe 5 days.

It's a few days (well it was last month) for a new keeper

Sending the form off now. Fingers crossed it takes max two weeks!!

How do you do it online?

I hope it is quicker than me! It took months of me chasing, the dealer chasing, telephone calls, around and around!
