What has overheated?

First my phone - it was in the sun on the dash of my car in a holder so I can see it for navigation - it was in the sun and flashed up a message saying it was going to shut down as it was too hot - I managed to move it to a spot in the shade and it was fine. I have a big Redmi Note 10 Pro - big displays use a lot of power!

At home my internet connection keeps dropping out and that's unprecedented - my internet is rock solid - in the last 8 years I can think of only one time it played up (due to the Neanderthals digging up the pavement to install Virgin fibre) - I found that my router was very warm even though it's in the shade - the whole house is - the house is sitting at 23-24 today 2C up from yesterday - I've turned that off for about 20 mins and moved it to a cooler place - basically lower down and on the floor. It seems OK now.

I just wondered if anyone else was seeing any problems.

Well it doesn't get much more significant than nuclear plants. All those people who say we will adapt are talking through their arses.

FYI: The first contractor who made such a mess of the work were sacked - they spent a lot of time having to dig up cables they had already installed in order to fix faults - they also broke a gas main and a water pipe - it meant the works stalled while they were thrown off the job and they found another contractor to restart the work. The 2nd lot could not have been more helpful - quick, tidy and thoughtful.
