I think it's quite clear he's insecure, also rather competitive and wants to win, hence why he was egging on the other guys in casa amore to cheat on their "girlfriends".
I don't think Gemma is that into him, she's made up her mind that he's not right for her but she is probably a bit concerned about telling him that because he'd probably cry for the remainder of their time in there.
But I can handle watching him whereas I've got to say I can't handle Tasha and Andrew, they are soooo boring. He's sneaky and creepy, whereas she's just lacking any kind of charisma or charm, she's so dull and I don't really feel bad for her not getting the votes!
