Buying personal air conditioning units isn’t the answer. National Grid is already having concerns over excess heat on infrastructure making it all less efficient.

Portable aircon units are all only useful in a small, enclosed area, and not really great then.
Its better to try to keep the heat out by closing all the curtains & blinds (especially blackout ones) and keeping doors and windows closed.
Do it now before it heats up , then when it cools down this evening, open everything up to let the cool fresh air in overnight.
