Sun protection in pool

Hi im getting a pool that's 18ft by 8ft. I want to protect the kids from the sun. And in the shade as much as I can . My garden gets the sun all day. I looked at gazebo but I would need 2 and I can't afford that .

Hoping someone might have an idea? Thank you 😊

Hang something between your fences? A sheet?

I was thinking the same. But was not sure if it would actual give shade and protect from sun as they are quite thin.

Waterproof sun cream applied regularly, long sleeved tshirt over swimming kit in the pool.

You could get just 1 gazebo so at least half the pool is in the shade to provide respite. Also make sure that the kids come in for a bit over lunch and early afternoon when the suns at it's strongest.

Can get long sleeved rash vests which have equivalent of SPF50

Hmmm really strong SPF 50 sunscreen? Maybe Nivea?

Or how about a large tent? Shaded area of garden? Kids extra protection sun caps?

Sun cream applied regularly will be fine. Or decathlon do a good selection of rash vests

You need a bivouac. a rope between two poles and then you hang a tarp over and peg down the corners I used one over a pool one year and cable tied the corners to the tops of backs of chairs.
