Yes, but in my experience, it took a long time, and I met numerous unsuitable men on OLD in order to find ‘the one’.
Took me 5 years of dating to find him.
OLD can be brutal - but what it’s taught me is that you have to have strong boundaries in place, don’t settle for just anyone, and also that it’s a numbers game.
You might get lucky and find someone easily and quickly, but in my case, I had numerous dates and several relationships.

Finally found my now DH at the age of 40.

it can and does happen, but it takes effort.
