Holy crap.

Why? How? Why? I mean, I know why. But that's… incredible dedication to science, and belief in your husband, and also — every day?

To be fair, people who are good at doing it make it barely feelable. But I agree, what dedication.

Yeah, he was probably pretty good at it by year three or so.

One nurse I had a smear test from, I doubt I'd have ended up with any cervix left after a few weeks…

I must have an overly large or insensitive foof because my smears have never hurt….

Bluetrews25 · 17/07/2022 07:48

What level of coercion was there, I wonder?

What a good woman.
Smear leave me sick and shaky enough as it is once every 3 years!

There is that

Theyd have been far more uncomfortable than now too. Everything would have been cold metal.

Amazing really - he's the one who's remembered but he could never have done it without her

Paranoidandroidmarvin · 17/07/2022 10:36

I’m so stretched from having my nearly 10 pound baby I don’t even feel anything anymore. So this would be doable for me.

devonianBiatch · 17/07/2022 11:36

What an amazing legacy they created!

Thebeastofsleep · 17/07/2022 12:00

This would be doable for me. I don't mind a smear at all ( and I've had tonnes). I also prefer a metal speculum.

I really hope not 😔
