10month old temp 38.7 - ride it out?

Evening / morning!

I am up with my 10month old DS.

I noticed around 3pm his temp was 38.5 and he had some calpol,
8pm it was 38.3 had some more calpol.
In between now and then he has been pretty upset and waking up screaming every 20/30 mins, won't have his bottle (usually he would be sleeping soundly from around 7pm)

His temp is now 38.7 so he has just had one more dose of calpol so that means he can only have one more dose between now and 3pm.

Do I ride it out? See how he is tomorrow?

Have you got any iburofen?

Is he drinking? Wet nappies? Fully awake and alert?

Hospitals tend to treat the child and not the temperature

I have ibuprofen but haven't given any.
My older child currently has chickpenpox so I assumed it might be the start of that, but wasn't sure at point to get him checked if at all. Also why I haven't given ibuprofen as I read it is not recommended when it's chickenpox

He is awake and alert, just very grumpy and sad.

He had his last proper drink at 6pm and only little sips since then. Will keep an eye on his nappies.
