abdominal hernia op

I have an abdominal hernia post DC and am now on a waiting list for the op to repair it. Has anyone else had it. How was the op? How long did it take to heal and how were you afterwards. I would really like to get it sorted but also feeling pretty nervous.

Hi!! Not really answering your question..(sorry!) I was just wondering where is your hernia, mine is next to my belly button.. I had a c section (third section) 18 weeks ago.. been for a CT scan today as I am in so much pain still.. I was wondering how big is your hernia? And does it cause you pain? I’m terrified of it and also nervous for surgery..

Honestly no still waiting for the op. Apparently might get it before Dec
