Has anyone had any experience in filling in a From E for divorce?

How much did it cost you? My solicitor is charging around £1k. Is this the going rate??

I am a secretary for a family sol. £1000 just for the form e sounds abit excessive but then it does depend on how much of the filling in of the form and collating of the doc you managed to do yourself. We charge £200 per hour plus vat but some clients fill the form e in themselves and it’s just a matter of double checking the figures, other clients just give us a load of documents and we fill the form out ourself which takes longer and we go back and forth with them asking for more info and docs, which pushes up costs.
