I won euro millions last night - so glad it was just £3

Just that really - I bought a ticket then imagined the logistics of having nearly £200 million and my mind was blown.

this morning I got an email letting me know I had won £3.

£10m is the perfect sum for me.

I’ve worked out I can move home, help out adult kids, pay myself a monthly allowance of four times my normal salary until I die (I am presuming I’ll live to 100!) and still have half the amount left in the bank. That doesn’t even factor in interest.

i cannot imagine possibly needing more than that - I know it would be lovely to gift to charity etc but managing that kind of money sounds like a job in itself

Ah, dammit. I'm having to keep dreaming too.

Enjoy your gift of a meal deal!

There is a really pretty 6 bed detached near here for 17m. Then I’d need a housekeeper, gardener and handyman. Plus all the rest - income, future proofing, university… I reckon I’d need 30m.
But yeah 200m is definitely too much!

RedCarsGoFaster · 16/07/2022 08:45

2 x £3 here.

I could really fucking do with a few hundred thousand right now to buy a house. "D"Hs behaviour last night was an absolute disgrace. The escape fund I had has been sadly depleted - time to build it up again I think.

WinterMusings · 16/07/2022 08:47

Well, anyone who feels they have 'too much' & it's a burden, I'm happy to help you out!!

I didn't even win a lucky dip. Harumph. Still tonight's lotto would help.

BIWI · 16/07/2022 08:50

I won £4! Go me Grin

RedToothBrush · 16/07/2022 08:52

I think i could easily find ways to spend £200 million tbh.

And not necessarily on myself.

14Degrees · 16/07/2022 08:54

Won a fiver here! DH said the drinks are on me but considering our favourite local has glasses of wine at £9 it's not going to be much a drink.

I had plans for that £191 million. Plans. Good ones.

CormoranStrike · 17/07/2022 07:58

So much for my grand plan. I didn’t win a more reasonable amount last night!

I could spend it happily!! And a lot of people would benefit.

You would never keep it secret though! I'd be scared for my safety.

SpottyStripyDuvet · 17/07/2022 08:10

Oo thanks for the prompt to check my emails. I won £5 and a lucky dip on the lotto.

I would make do with £2m but £10m would be really good. Having said that if I won £100m I could at least set up a charity/give really big donations.

PritiPatelsMaker · 17/07/2022 08:15

£3 here. I think I could easily cope with £191m. Lots of people to share it with, a couple of second homes and all the staff I'd need.
