Train strike help please

Any ideas please, we have tickets for the Harry Potter Play on the 27th, a birthday present for a huge fan, any ideas how I can get in with the train strike?

• we are coming in from surrey


• no coaches coming back after 8.


• im wondering about driving to Morden/Wimbledon but apparently tubes didn’t run last time


• bus from Richmond or Kingston? Getting in for lunchtime/leaving late may be quieter?


• im a very nervous city driver so very reluctant to drive in.

Anyone got any bright ideas, please?

Could you stay overnight close by maybe?

There were no tubes last time because the tube was on strike afaik there are no plans for the tube to be on strike on 27th July, so should be fine to drive to Wimbledon and get the tube in.

Hotel isn’t really an option. But hopefully tube is running so I’ll plan for that.
