If you’re a single parent can you detail your day with a baby?

Just wondering how it is. I don’t understand how people say there’s no time to put a wash on etc so feel I am massively missing something!

I was a single mum to a 2yr old and a 3mth old many years ago. Routine got me through.

Everyone up around 7.30, washing machine on having been loaded the night before and dressed (clothes out the night before too) by 8.30am, breakfast, baby changed and nap. Light housework - dishes, run around hoover, hang out washing.
Normally a walk , coffee, toddler group etc and in good weather took a sandwich us.
Home, naps - time to prep dinner, get in washing, sit and chill.
Dinner, bath and bed for kids.
Load washing machine, clean up after dinner, bath, pyjamas, clothes out for tomorrow. Dream feed with tv on low then bed.

Back then no food delivery for shopping so all to supermarket once a week plus top ups when out.

Occasionally it all went to shit, we had a pyjama day to reset and I called for pizza convincing myself and he 2yr old would survive just this once!
