Are there people who are happy?
Are there people in happy relationships?
Happy marriages?
I look around me (i look internally), no one is happy.
Everyone has a problem.
I wonder what this life is all for, what is it about.

How do you find happiness?

I am happy, i have two lovely grown up sons, a lovely DH of 33 years, a nice house, retired so no more work stress, good friends, do lots of travelling, like cooking, like keeping my home nice, like next doors cat popping in for a cuddle, like watching my nightly hedgehogs, like listening to the birds every day, like doing laundry and sleeping in clean sheets, like drinking wine, like listening to music, like reading books, like walking ,pilates and being lazy too. Life is way too short to not do whatever you want ( funds permitting) my only sadness comes from seeing the shit in the news about how awful people are to others and personal news like recently hearing my previous boss is terminally ill, makes me think even more to live life whilst you can.

Yes there are. Everything you want in life takes very hard work and often you get out less than you put in but it’s worth it.

Sometimes people aren’t prepared to do the heavy lifting of smoothing over arguments, dealing with their mental health, pouring in positive energy and often not getting a huge amount back for their troubles.

Our previous society had problems, but there was also more of a feeling of a shared goal, of understanding that relationships were hard work, and of trying. These days, it seems friendships end over very small issues. People feel they are standing up for themselves by walking away. It’s harder to stay and resolve an unpleasant situation but actually that might be better long term.

Yes I'm happy. DH says he is too.
Happiness isn't the same as not having problems though.
Scratch the surface with anyone and you'll find they have some sort of challenging things in their life.
Doesn't mean they can't be happy though.

Thank you all for your beautiful, kind words. Its such a pleasure to read.

I want to keep fighting, hoping, dreaming that I too will one day be happy, internally, mentally. I dream so big but reality of life is different.

I can only put my hands on my heart and say my x2 children are qhat gives me sheer happiness and reason for living.

For them, I keep going. For them I keep pushing to be a better version of myself.

Sadly life, surrounding, doesn't allow, permit this. Constant bringing you down, constant negative energy.

Sorry, I'm going off on a tangent that will make no sense.

Have a good evening all..
Thank u again.x
