At the start of the year met a lovely school parents. A month later she asked me if I wanted her daughters things for my newborn and I said no that's very kind and thank you. It turned into her giving me things at every school drop off 2-3 times and I felt too embarrassed to argue and say no. She said do what you want even if you go give it to the charity shop that's fine. We went to a play centre with her and her kids which was fun. Also went for breakfast together. I thought we became good mates.
Then she started to ignore me which was weird. Until one day it was 'ohh hi you okay do you know the dress I gave you I've got the shoes for it' and I was like no thanks. She said ohh I'm so sorry I've just been so busy with everything and haven't had the chance to talk to you...blah blah blah and handed me the bag of shoes and old toy. I felt too embarrassed to causes a scene outside school and took the bag. Now again after that...periods of ignoring me, putting her head down when she sees me etc etc
Its just left me wondering what on earth was that relationship? I thought she was a friend. I've not done anything to offend her. Did she just want to pass her crap onto me? Obviously it's all gone to the charity shop. But honestly every time she sees me she runs away which is strange because I don't want to speak to her either.
