Anyone having issues with their Hotmail account?

Mines stopped working since yesterday. Cannot send or receive emails. It says something about cannot connect….
I’ve tried resetting password and still nothing.

just seeing if anyone else experiencing this right now?

No issues with mine. Accessed it loads today. I use it exclusively for personal emails.

Since posting on here my account has been very sporadic, some days not working at all then other days I suddenly get all my emails through.
I’ve received a login message saying unusual activity on account and to confirm if it’s me or not. I’ve done this and yet still nothing.

Anyways tinkering with things and I think I’ve deleted about 2 years worth of emails, emails I need! 😥 Please can anyone help me retrieve these emails. I’m just going round and round in circles. Many thanks!

Have you checked your deleted folder? They go there.

Your account is definitely weird. Sounds like someone has accessed it.

Mine is okay but for the last week or so I'm constantly getting emails saying there's suspicious activity when syncing. The IP address that is suspicious is Microsoft in the USA

I’ve been getting that one, asking me to log in. I’ve ignored it.

@Decidualcast That’s what’s puzzling me, I seem to have lost my sent box, bin, deleted mails etc… all that remains is the inbox.
Well spoke to a friend this evening they suggested I log in using outlook and guess what everything is there, thankfully.

But in my hotmail inbox the error message is still coming up.

I am going to change my email address, it’s just having to inform various people/organisations etc…
But yes, I feel something weird is going on 😳

I had to sort this out for my mum. Hotmail was basically, if I understand it correctly, the Microsoft email that is now Outlook. I went to the office365 login page, used her Hotmail login details and it logged it in to her emails. Maybe try that.
