I hate the 'amusing chat' about the weather and having to interact with the screen. Huw suddenly looks like he's been asked to give an unexpected PowerPoint presentation.

I wonder if they've all suddenly had to have new shoes

I don't watch the whole of the news that regularly, but saw this a little while ago and wondered where she was off to.
It's ridiculous.
I mean, why ?

I noticed that the weather people are often wearing 'the wrong shoes' - probably because they're usually never shown!

I like the sentiment of the regions bit, but the pictures are too small so you can't actually see anybody, making it a bit pointless!

It's the predictability that irritates me. Like it's the new 'end of the bulletin' friendly handover.

Yes the pointless tromping across the studio and interacting self consciously with the presentations, swishing his hand around in the general direction, being caught out looking at the wrong camera. What is wrong with sitting at a desk and reading the news,feel sorry for the presenters.

Might have to give up on bbc news due to the gimmicky production, still getting on my nerves .

The BBC is run by idiots. They should just stick to what they do best and forget about being hip and trendy because it comes across as so unnatural and forced.

I still don't think it's really settling in, the bit when they go to the touch screen looks really awkward and there's lots of uncomfortableness all round. I like that the weather is now part of the programme, but the case of the weather people in mismatched shoes continues!

Poor Thomasz the other night couldn't keep up with the graphics, and did a full work out reaching across the massive screen. Give them back the clicker !
