Just that really.

How many days do you keep it in before it needs emptying and refilling?

Honestly if you’re going to throw out the water every couple of days your best to just not bother. When water companies are telling us to be careful for with water and it’s just wasted every 2/3 days on the grass.

Ours is 16ft so never , we treat it with chemicals , a filter and I think chlorine. Water stays in all year round and takes a day or 2 to get clean

About 3 days if not too grim.

I sometimes put a spot of Milton in. There are instructions on the side for a dilution level that you can use to make water drinkable. I figure if you can literally use it to create drinking water it can't do too much damage to DC in tiny quantities.

We have a large paddling pool, holds about 200 gallons. Usually keep it a couple of weeks before needing to change water. Like others I have a cover, pool net, and use chlorine tablets in a floating dispenser (dosage information comes with them). The biggest game changer though is a weekly dose of algaecide - those complaining of there pool going green need to add this! I tip the used water on the lawn/hedge just before I would be adding more chemicals (so what's left in pool would be low level) and it doesn't kill them.
