Virgin router not working please someone help

The stupid fucking thing has been flashing green since 9pm last night did an online broadband test and they reckon all OK.Any idea?

Unplug and reboot? I often have problems with the Virgin hub and they never flag up a problem when I look at service status . Have you wiggled all the cables to see if somethings come a bit loose

We had this; it turned out to be an issue with the external cabling. (Here in Edinburgh a lot of the Virgin network is on the old Telewest cabling, which is somewhat venerable in places).

You need to get on to Virgin Media customer services and not take no for an answer. The engineers, when they come out, are generally really good and helpful.

Our Virgin router does this and it usually fixes itself after being turned off and on to re boot.

oh Virgin are just shit. This happened to me all day yesterday - I spoke to them and they initially said there wasn't an issue, and then they told me that in fact there was an issue in the area. My wifi started working in the evening and I had to tether onto my phone all day to do any work.

Ours often goes a bit funny in the hot weather. It seems to have been fine after we switched it off for 10 minutes and then back on again.
