Fly tipping - just why!?

Popped down stairs to take my rubbish out to find a whole load of someone else's rubbish has been dumped where our wheelie bins are kept. Mostly DIY rubbish from what I can see but also old pizza boxes, deodorant cans etc. I'm so annoyed!

I've reported it to the council but I know they're going to say as it's on private property they won't do anything. So it'll be left to muggins here to deal with.

I know when it happened as I heard some wheelie bins being moved about 11pm Sunday night but my neighbours nephew quite often comes and sorts her rubbish out and I assumed it was him.

At what point to people think, oh I'll just take my stinking rubbish and dump it next to someone's house!!

Well as expected, the council refused to do anything with the rubbish as it's on private land. Would love to know who owns it.
So, it was a pair of rubber gloves and empty bin bags and down to me to sort it.

Litter of any type infuriates me - just so unnecessary

Even if it isn't a health hazard / stinky / rodent-infested it looks bloody dreadful

All the country lanes near me have food wrappers & drinks containers in the hedge bottoms - just awful

All of it should be picked up for free by the council - they are the only people who can (mostly) responsibly recycle stuff

It's either that or we need a proper government campaign (like the keep Britain tidy one from the 80's!) where we're told we're individually responsible for the life cycle of every product we buy

If only people realised there's no such thing as throwing 'AWAY' - there is no 'away' Confused, there's just thrown out to decompose harmful materials into our planet
