We're heading to a dog friendly cottage near Scarborough for a week soon. Any suggestions on what we should get up to? Will have 2 teens with us.

Whereabouts will you be? Depending which side of Scarborough you are there's lots of different things to do. Also how old are your teens?

We'll be staying near Peasholm Park? Teen are at opposite ends - 13 and 18

Go Ape- in dalby forest 🌳

Alpamare and the penny machines. All you need!

ethelredonagoodday · 13/07/2022 13:21

Loads of great suggestions here. You'll be minutes from the beach, alpamare, sealife centre and as others have said, well placed to go further afield for activities like Wykeham lakes and Dalby Forest!

Have a great holiday!

Tower of terror.

We were down there last week, it's sadly not as I remembered it as a kid.

They do a great naval battle re enactment on the lake in the park. We’ve been lucky enough to holiday there at the right time 2 or 3 times.

The naval battle in the park is hilarious fun, I went with low expectations but it's excellent. There's a little train that runs from the sealife centre to the park, the castle is a good walk and the views are gorgeous.
Beware the gulls, I had to go into a cafe and wash my jacket after I got very pooped on!
