NCP behind the station?

Are you looking for cheapest option or concern about theft?

Alloftheusernamesaretakenn · 12/07/2022 14:42

Where in Swansea are you actually going and, as Welshrarebit says, are you concerned about theft? Is your car 'desirable' or one of the commonly stolen makes/models (Land Rover, Golf Type R, etc)?

Harrriet · 12/07/2022 14:42

Theft really, I won't be able to go back and check until Thursday

Orchard Street NCP is closed at 9pm each evening, and is patrolled. You can pre book a parking space there as well.

Otherwise maybe look if someone “rents” their driveway - depends on where you need to be in the city I suppose.

Despite reputation I’m not sure Swansea is any worse than any other City. I’ve left me car overnight on occasion for work trips/weekends away.

My only other suggestion if you are really worried is to park in Neath (Milland Lane car park) and get the train into Swansea (16 mins journey).

Where are you coming from and going to? I really would t park in any car park in Swansea tbh. I know the area pretty well - you're better off on a side street .

The CUP on the Kingsway is also closed at night. You can always park outside my house and get a taxi or bus in. I live 2 1/2 miles from the city centre and on a University bus route.

The NCP, flipping autocorrect.

The your parking space website shows places like supermarket car parks which only have maximum 2 hours parking. I wouldn't rely on that site.

Thank you everyone. I'm going to my sons graduation and staying for a couple of days. I am staying at the Grand but they don't have parking. My son said to just park at the NCP but I wanted to check if that's safe.
