Paris next week

My son in y7 is going to Paris on Monday with the school. With the current heatwave the first day being 39 degrees!

He is unaccustomed to the heat and came over with a bit of heat exhaustion at school a few weeks ago so really want to prepare him as best I can.

I have bought exercise style loose shorts and t shirts. These are said to be good for heat, moisture wicking and exercise but are polyester so not sure....

I will get a travel fan, have hat and sunglasses and will drum in water and suncream.....

They are doing a day in Disney. Do they have drinking water top up fountains? shady queues?

Any advice Paris specific or just general would be welcomed!

Speaking French in Paris goes a long way. Also on the Metro there are tip-up seats on most that are by the door, so you get a bit more breeze/air than being sat elsewhere in the carriage.

Disney queues are mainly sheltered or inside from what I can remember. I don't remember seeing water fountains.

My year 8 DS is going to Paris with school this Thursday for 5 days. I'm also worried about it as the temp is predicted to be nearly 40degs and he's not good with heat. I'd love some tips too!

That's good about the queues.

It's a worry isn't it Datacolour. Ours has quite a full itinerary but hope they will make amendments if it's necessary.
