Sheets/blankets/quilts for Summer?

Two of my sons (12 and 14) are sleeping in the warmer part of the house and the 14 year old will not give up his quilt but admits he’s too hot at night. The 12 year old just uses a blanket, but it’s a fluffy one that makes me feel as guilty. Does anyone have suggestions for something light? Thanks so much

4.5 or 7.5 tog duvet. I love mine.
My daughter just has a sheet.

A sheet.

I have a 4 tog cotton quilt from Ikea.

Thanks a million, will go looking at lesser tog quilts, I tried a sheet and apparently it annoyed both!

DS just has a thin cotton flat sheet on in these temps- has a duvet to pull over as and when needed but will not need it tonight. DH an I have a 7 tog duvet that will end up on the floor as I think we'll both just sleep on top of the bed tonight with a fan on.

A weighted blanket, you feel like you have a quilt on without the heat.

Cotton Sheet
Kantha quilt (sp?)
Lightweight cellular wool blanket
Low tog wool duvet

Wool is such a brilliant temperature regulator its suitable for most nights tbh. My oh likes a wool blanket and cotton sheet. I'm coming round to it tbh.

Whatever you choose, make sure it's natural fibres.

I live in a tropical country. In winter it's similar temperature to the hottest part of english Summer. I use a Duvet cover (no insert) or a thin cotton blanket at night.

I bought a 1 tog duvet from Amazon to try which he was happy with but now just wants to sleep under a duvet cover.

Thanks so much everyone, he slept under a sheet last night but will look into all above as I would like an alternative in the summer when it’s in between warm Irish weather and this heatwave!!!

I have a quilted throw, which is equivalent to 2 tog and a sheet. One or other gets pushed off. Last night was just the sheet but most nights it's the quilted throw - with a fan

Am online looking up everything and my god there’s so many options! The only one out so far is the weighted blanket as he has asthma and all signs are pointing to not using them if you have respiratory issues. I am right down the rabbit hole though, there are some gorgeous quilts etc out there!!!!!
