Three beautiful baby Wrens.

Mum is absolutely gorgeous and attentive but so small 😭

Apologies for terrible picture. Don't want to disturb them too much.
Have put small dishes of water round the garden and mum has been in and out of the hedges searching for food ❤️

Don’t worry OP, mama birds don’t abandon their babies if they’ve been handled by humans

A sad update to bring, we lost two babies over the last couple of days. DH found two on the floor on Tuesday night (can't fly and definitely weren't trying either), popped them back in but they got pushed out of the nest overnight when we were asleep (I've got covid too) and have seen hide nor hair of them since.

Wilhelmina and Wendy appear to still be in the nest and mama has been in and out.
Thankyou for the advice RE mealworm! Will get that sorted.

Aww that's sad but it truly is survival of the fittest, I hope the others do OK and grow up big and strong
