Had interview today 🤯

Had a virtual interview today for a role I really, really want, first one in over a decade, now I'm thinking of all the solutions and different answers I could give 😭 Anyone been in the same boat and got the job? I'm definitely qualified, I just was nervous at interview. Argh!

I think if you know that you are well qualified for the job you may well get a second interview - it’s easy to assume that all jobs are inundated with great, qualified candidates but that really isn’t the case! Fingers crossed for you!

They're interviewing a fair few from what they said and then making a decision from there. Just wish my brain had worked better this morning, I've got so many ideas now about what they were asking!!

I hate virtual interviews, so sympathies.
Not much help I know, but I had one three weeks ago, I know I messed up due to nerves and I was right, as I didn’t get it.
It’s normal to critique yourself and think of all the ways you could have performed better afterwards. Keeping everything crossed for you.

This happened to me a few weeks ago! I actually laughed at myself a few times during the interview and at the end!

I've still got a few more steps to go but passed the interview.

I could have written this op! Interview this morning, first one since 2015 I think - virtual, civil service role. I’m more than qualified, it’s not even a promotion, it’s a sideways move, I gave crap answers to some questions and dried up completely at one point. I know in civil service it’s all to do with points in interview and your experience means nothing so I think I’ve messed it up. I can think of great answers now… when do you find out? Mine won’t be until Monday.

@MsInsomniac I feel you! End of next week for me. This job is similar for me, slightly less pay and probably a side step but love the company and love love love the work, I'm doing similar in a voluntary role. 🤞 For us!
