Can any one recommend a self help book that's really helped them struggling to deal with life in general looking for something to get my head focused in. Thanks in advance

I May Be Wrong by Bjorn Natthiko Lindeblad.

Wonderful book.

I like a book by Richard Carlson called "Stop Thinking, Start Living"

In the meantime "The School of Life" You Tube channel is really helpful. However once on you tube looking at self help videos be very cautious of the adverts that will be thrown at you. The ads are full of, very far from helpful "gurus". Ignore them! and enjoy "school of life"

What are you finding hard? I really got a lot from kristin neff phd and chris germer phd's workbook mindful self-compassion. I did the exercises and took it slowly.

Literally just finished reading “Why has nobody told me this before?” By Dr Julie Smith.
it’s chapters on different issues, with explanations and tips. There’s a nice summary at the end of each chapter. I will use it like a reference book, but I did enjoy just reading it straight through. There are also exercises for you to do.
