Paying a kindness forward...

This afternoon I was on my way to stay with my son... I got to the station waiting room and overheard a lady on the phone saying she didn't know where she was going when she got off the train. When she finished her call I apologised for seeming nosey but I had overheard and was happy to help her. When we got to the station I took her to where she needed to be and then got my next train... Two hours later I got off the train and the lift was broken. I have dyspraxia and struggle with stairs and a suitcase... As if by magic a young man appeared beside me and offered to carry my case. He carried it down the stairs through the underpass and up the stairs. I told him I believed in paying it forward and that I had helped the lady earlier... He said he hoped something kind would happen to him tonight and I said I was sure it would and that he had helped restore my faith in people... What a lovely young man... ♥ ♥

That is lovely and it is nice to help others and it does make us feel good. I just did a little thing today by letting a few people go in front of me in Aldi as they only had few items and I had a weekly shop. I bet that lady was delighted you helped her and there is still some good people out there. Well done you..

Ah this is a lovely thought. I find the same happens when I am driving. I feel buoyed up when someone lets me out in traffic and do the same for the next person 😇
