Hi,

Is there a way of finding proof of child benefit online? I'm filling in a childcare grant from student finance for the first time and I have no idea how to access this. I've emailed the child benefit office for a copy but I was wondering if there was a way I could get it online?

No they will send you a letter.

Copy of your bank statement showing the payments? Blur or obscure all other transactions.

Have you got a government gateway log in? Pretty certain it’s on there

Do you still have the letter they sent when you first registered for Child Benefit? It'll be on that.

You can apply for a letter

I have phoned a number I found on line before and they gave me my child benefit number.

Pretty sure this is available on the Government gateway..register online for access.
