Dettol liquid

I need to use some Dettol to wash some clothes today. Whereabouts in the washing machine do I put it? If I put it in the detergent dispenser along with the powder the powder will go all cloggy and lumpy. Or do I put it in the conditioner dispenser part of the drawer along with the conditioner? Or the only other place to put it would be to put the clothes in and just throw a capful on top of them. Thanks.

If laundry liquid, you put it in with conditioner.

Daughter has been sick all over her clothes.

It's not the laundry liquid one I have but the one that says Dettol Antiseptic Disifectant Liquid.

I would put it in with clothes then.

Just washing them would be enough surely?

The stuff in the white bottle with the green liquid says to put in the fabric conditioner drawer.

why not napisan? That just goes in with powder, no worries.

Dettol is a bit oily and I think you'd want it well washed out with detergent. I'd set the machine to do a pre-wash and use dettol in the drum to start with, then use regular detergent for the main wash to wash all the dettol out.

I would have wiped off the worst of the sick (any chunky bits) and then just done a wash with a prewash. Not sure I'd put actual dettol in with the clothes. If you had zoflora or laundry cleanser I'd put it in the fabric softener bit of the machine
