He loves Paddington 1 and 2, Mary Poppins 1 and 2.

Any ideas similar to this? He's not bothered by Bedknobs and Broomsticks or some of those older films.

Trying to get an hours peace to do some work next to him!

Stuart Little
Peter Rabbit
Christopher Robin
Babe (Had to watch it with Ds the first time, as I knew he’d cry, after that it was ok)

Fivemoreminutes1 · 03/07/2022 14:31

Charlotte’s Web, My Dog Skip and Marley & Me might also be ok.

Peter Pan (2003)
5 Children and It - The one with Eddie Izzard as the sand fairy.
Paulie - About a little girl and a Parrot. I haven't seen this one in years though.i think it would be suitable for that age but you might want to prewatch it.

Mine loved Homeward Bound.

Also Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Beethoven, but they were a bit more scary in a few places

KyaClark · 03/07/2022 18:31

Hugo on Netflix looks all right.

sparklecrazy · 03/07/2022 18:34

My 5 year old twins love Matilda!

Home Alone is a big favourite of my 6 year old. He doesn't seem to mind watching a Christmas movie all year round!

The Borrowers

emmathedilemma · 07/07/2022 16:32

It's years since I've watched it but think it's ok for little kids......Beethoven (and associated ones in the series)

CrispieCake · 07/07/2022 17:02

Madeleine is quite gentle and was popular here.

KyaClark · 07/07/2022 17:40

Robin Williams.

I love it.

wellhelloitsme · 07/07/2022 17:45

Paddington?

purpleme12 · 07/07/2022 19:38

Ah yes Madeleine and Jack! Had completely forgotten about those! So going to put them on my list to watch with my child now

Helpel · 07/07/2022 20:18

OMG @Fivemoreminutes1 Marley and me?! I cried for over an hour at that and so did everyone I know! And I'm not a crier! I do not recommend for a young child!! 😂😂

purpleme12 · 07/07/2022 20:38

My child would have been completely bored by Marley & Me at OP's child's age

YungDumbThrills · 07/07/2022 20:39
