£3.69 wine.

It’s Friday evening and I fancied a glass of wine while watching Celebrity Gogglebox. I know, I know, the glamour.
This is a £3.69 bottle of Sauvignon from Tesco. Unsurprisingly it is fairly harsh. Although I am still drinking it of course. Does anyone have any recommendations at a similar price? I really can’t justify much more than this. I don’t drink red at all 🍷

Try Lidl instead of Tesco. They have some decent wine, I usually pay a bit more but if their £6 wine is nice then I'm sure their £4 will be not too bad!

Lidl do a very drinkable white at £3.99. It has a yellow label and starts with a c, but the name currently eludes me. Failing that add a splash of soda or lemonade?

Lidl do a £3.99 bottle of Sauvignon Blanc called Vineyard . Hungarian . It is very drinkable .

Aldi - Pierre Jaurant Chardonnay £4.49 I think

Also, Lidl do have quite good offers so for £4 you can often get a £5/6 bottle which will just be that bit nicer. @kittythames is that the Chenin Blanc? That’s quite nice.

I like Aldi's Pinot Grigio, easy to drink and cheap as chips.

I like Sainsburys Wild Valley Rose. For a while it disappeared and they had a rose from Penguin Sands that was pretty good. There's a Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc from Penguin Sands too.

Aldi do a very nice pink moscato for £4.99. It's very sweet though so depends what you like. I do find Aldi have quite a good selection actually

I love the Aldi Cambalala Chenin Blanc which is £3.79.

Sainsburys frequently have a 25% sale on wine if you purchase 6 bottles.

Tesco have that offer at present.
