Best part time days?

Hi all. I’m soon to be starting back work from maternity leave, going part time, 3 days a week. I can pick which days I want off. I was wondering if there are some days that are more advantageous than others? For example, if your regular day off was a Monday, and most bank holidays are Mondays, does that mean you would lose the bank holiday, or could have it another day?

I will be chatting this through with my employer, but don’t want to be talked into something that will benefit them but not me, without me realising! Any advice from anyone who’s part time would be appreciated! Thank you :)

Wednesday. Never work more than 2 days in a row again.

I like Weds as a day off. Two days at work then a day to catch up in the house, appointments, shopping , then another two day’s before weekend. Made the week feel manageable. Quite like a Monday now and then for a long weekend but as others have said there could be disadvantages if it is a permanent arrangement so would need to be checked. Currently I have Tuesday off which I’m not keen on (my days off tend to change due to needs of the business).

Also if you can, include a statement in your flexible working request that you can flex your days off in school holidays. I do change occasionally, usually when there's an inset day on a Friday

I work Monday, Thursday and Friday.
I love it as one day back after the weekend then two off to catch up on things / meet friends/ dh for lunch then two days back at work and then it's the weekend again!
