I'm sure I read on here if you have an infeection to use ice instead of heat. Am I remembering right?
I have an infection but tested positive for covide this morning so couldn't see the dentist but she left me antibiotics out and strict instructions to go to A&E if it gets worse.

Never put heat on an infection or pulled muscle, it feels good yes but delays the inevitable.

I'm so sorry, I should've also added I hope you're better soon with both tooth and covid. Tooth pain is THE worst thing ever, not what you need right now.

Ice, plus ibuprofen and regular rinses with salt water.

Thanks, I did sleep on a hot water bottle last night but I only been using ice packs today.
It really is the worse, I can't even open my mouth fully.
