Me and my partner have split up and we've got a four month old.. AIBU when I call him controlling and call him out for gaslighting me asking me to take photos of when I'm out and who I'm out with and when I'm at home, always making me feel bad for going out with family or even friends... always asking me to do more so he can actually trust me,so I ended it with no where else to go with this relationship but now I'm feeling bad for calling it off and calling him out even though he thinks he's doing nothing wrong and getting defensive😭 I mean I know none of this is right but I did everything to keep him happy and it's not a way to live😭 so should I be feeling bad? I don't know

He sounds dreadful. And controlling.

You are right to have ended it.

As a lone parent I can tell you you will be better off without him. (I had a similar controlling type, we are so much better off without that shit in our life).

Keep your family and friends close. They will be there for you. He won't.
All the best.

Thank you guys.. I'm just finding it really hard even when I went for my smear he made me swear on our daughters life that I had a female chaperone there and it wasn't just a male there! I love him to pieces and it's hard cause of our little one but I need to do what's best and if that means breaking my own heart for it to heal then so be it!🥺
