Covid Pass Question

I have just tried setting up the NHS log-in for my son (in order to apply for a Covid pass) but after taking a photo of his passport, it asked for a video recording of him saying, or writing down, four numbers…? I thought it was a scam of some kind, is this what we have to do?

I’ve abandoned it for now 😄

Yes that's right, just did it yesterday for DD. It's used to check against the passport photo to prove ID but I agree it seems weird!

I have four to do, so I am presuming I need four separate NHS log-ins…?

I am sure someone said it was a quick and easy process 🙄
