Do ant bait stations work?

We have ants in our kitchen. I've seen ant bait stations but online reviews seem a bit mixed. Some people say they're the only thing that works and others saying the ants just walk around it.

Anyone used one and found it works?

Yes they do, in fact I find it's the only thing that works.

Yup very well IMO

Yes! We put one down last week and it worked amazingly well - it was quite horrifying at first seeing what seemed like hundreds of ants around it, but they all just trooped in and out of it quickly and by the evening they were all gone.

Im pleased to hear they work. Where do you think the best place to put it would be?

I've seen them on the counter top but don't like the thought of them swarming where I prep food etc.

Yes; every time I've used a bait station it's got rid of the ant problem for several years. Ideally find out where the ants are getting in from outside and put it there (this may not work if you have pets or crawling babies).

You need to put it somewhere along their regular route and nowhere near pets, kids (crawlers who might pick it up etc) or food prep. Yep, they work!

Track them back from the counter open, and see where they are coming from before then. Bait at that point.
