PIP and active conditions- GP notes

I had to get copies of GP notes for something recently and noticed they have placed my conditions under 'significant past' rather than 'active'.

This is annoying as was hoping to use the summary for when PIP gets reviewed.

They're incurable and long term so not sure why they have done this. Any advice welcome.

I suppose you could ask the GP office to list them in both areas?

It's an automatic thing based on the system they use (emis). Things are added to your notes on the date you're diagnosed, and then after a certain amount of time move into the past section. The PIP people will be used to seeing this

As long as the evidence supports that the condition is still having an impact then it would be considered.

OK it seems fine then. Thanks. I have asked them to move it, see what happens. But it's good to know this is normal as I know PIP / Atos would jump at anything which shows it's 'all in the past"!
