As title says.

OP posts:
Xanthe68 · 28/06/2022 15:18

From birth.

GreatStuff67 · 28/06/2022 15:37

Same - from birth.

stayathomegardener · 28/06/2022 15:41

Absolutely from birth.

heldinadream · 28/06/2022 15:42

Birth.

KarrotKake · 28/06/2022 15:44

DS1 - in utero.
He never stopped moving in there, and hasn't stopped since.

DS2 is still changing (he's 11 yrs). But has always been more chilled.

SpiderVersed · 28/06/2022 15:45

From the start!

Marblessolveeverything · 28/06/2022 15:46

Yep from day one. Ds one arrived looking worried, I don't blame him he had me sussed and Ds2 arrived chilled as anything.

Both remain similar to initial form.

iloveorange · 28/06/2022 15:46

She's only 8 weeks old, but I'd say she's the same baby I had in my womb: energetic, alert, strong and strong-willed

GoodVibesHere · 28/06/2022 15:49

I have two DDs, very different personalities, obvious from day 1

Dogtooth · 28/06/2022 15:54

In retrospect, from day one but with DC1 I thought I had 'a baby' and didn't realise how different babies can be. In hindsight, her personality was plain from the get go, DC2 as well! They even kicked differently in the womb I think, DC1 was quite active and kicky, DC2 was a bit more rolling and gentle.

PerfectPrepPrincess · 28/06/2022 15:54

5/6/7 months maybe?

PerfectPrepPrincess · 28/06/2022 15:56

There were obviously elements from birth but only snippets not her soh for eg or what made her excited or what she enjoys, more temperament than anything

EmeraldShamrock1 · 28/06/2022 15:58

From the very beginning.

DD was quite and laid back never cried she has not changed in 13 years.

DS was a grumpy sod, he arrived crying, he is still a very grumpy high needs child 7 years later.

Sparklybutold · 28/06/2022 16:00

As soon as I heard that first cry! 😂

Seeingadistance · 28/06/2022 16:13

In utero, as pp also said.

ExPatHereForAChat · 28/06/2022 16:16

Probably about 6 months or so.

MargaretThursday · 28/06/2022 16:17

Well:

DD2 used to poke her arm out from about 7 months pregnant so far you could see a bump. Really painful. I used to push it back gently. She'd wait a minute and then poke it out again. She's hasn't changed a bit and she's 18yo. Grin (do I win the thread 🤣) She was also an immense wriggler, which dd1 wasn't-she was a sleeper and continued to be so.

GalactatingGoddess · 28/06/2022 16:19

A couple of weeks old definitely

FlorrieFosdyke · 28/06/2022 16:38

I'm going to buck the trend here and say from about 18 months.
Certain characteristics were there earlier but from around 18months I really got a feel for the personality.

MassiveSalad22 · 28/06/2022 16:39

Definitely from birth.

DS1 was born in a matter of minutes (do not recommend), holding his head up from birth etc. Hasn’t sat still in the 7 years since.

DS2 ultimate chill child

DD is just a poppet. Only 12 weeks but barely cries. Very content.

Tinkerblonde1 · 28/06/2022 16:43

Agree from birth. It completely changed going through puberty and lockdown though.

BananaSpanner · 28/06/2022 16:46

The personalities they had from birth (ds- loving but highly strung, dd- easy going) lasted through their toddler years but now 10 and 7 years later, DS is now far more chilled and DD is very strong willed, funny, kind but can be stroppy.

QuebecBagnet · 28/06/2022 16:47

I think dd’s strong independent streak which I’d say is her defining character trait became apparent at about 18months.

LosDolses · 28/06/2022 17:01

In utero

TheMushroom · 28/06/2022 17:03

My DD's personality was evident straight away.

DS took longer to come out of his shell. For about 18 months he was just an innocent, snuggly, giggly baby. And then one day he played quite a sophisticated trick on me and laughed his head off when I fell for it. He's been a monkey ever since.
