Anyone else clumsy af?

Granted I have dyspraxia, but I treated myself in duty free today as I had the money. Bought a bottle of Chanel Cuir de Rouse (sp) for £135 which is probably the most I've ever spent, but it is/was lush.

Get to hotel and unwrap. Bottle falls out the bottom and smashes everywhere. Room reeks, I've spent ages picking up glass and I could cry.

Now wondering whether it counts as accidental damage on my insurance. I can't believe it just fell out once I took the cellophane off

I feel your pain but if you are like me it is quite likely you unwrapped upside down or just generally manhandled it in a way that it would fall. I unwrapped a laptop once, it hit the deck, luckily it wasn’t damaged but according to DH there was no way that could have happened….. I think insurance is unlikely, and if you have an excess not worth it, but you could try.
