I'm fairly recently single (12 months) after a 30 year marriage and completely clueless about dating, which seems to be completely different now, even if I could remember it!
I have a wide circle through a hobby. Some of the married people I thought were good friends have practically disappeared, but I've become closer to the singletons.
I've had Covid this week, along with 4 women from this group who I was out with at the weekend. I've been quite ill actually despite 3 vaccinations and having had it before
Anyway three single men have been in touch to ask how I am. (And a couple of women, but only the ones who are also ill). My first thought was doesn't bad new travel quickly, but then I thought, they must have been talking to someone about me and then they've bothered to send messages. None of them are people I'm regularly in touch with.
They have previously only been friendly, in some cases only polite, not quite friendly, nothing more, but are they circling or just being nice. Or nosy, is Covid still a bit of exciting gossip?
I accept I'm overthinking, but I've been home alone all week and am starting to feel a bit better 😆
