Italian wedding

Has anyone ever been to a really nice, small, intimate Italian wedding?

I know that's a bit specific but I'm desperately looking for a venue.

I have been looking at sorrento and lake Garda but open to other areas.

Any insights welcome. Thanks

I’ve been to one in Ravello. Very beautiful. Also very expensive and prohibitively so for some.

Are you my husband's niece OP? She was also born in 1988 (assuming you are from your username). She is also looking at venues to get married in for next summer. Around Florence I think it was though.

The most beautiful wedding I’ve been to was on Lake Como.

You could try looking for venues in Bellano (the next town along from Varenna on Lake Como, just as pretty but sooo much cheaper)

Have you considered Wales’ very own “Little Italy” - the village of Portmeirion ?
They have a license for weddings and guests can stay in the hotel or the quirky on site houses.
