Discovered the comfort of steaming.

I started steaming a month ago for my post covid throat. It's become a huge comfort to me and i now do it every morning. It's really helped me feel less anxious too. I just wanted to share in case it can help someone else.

Just boil the kettle, fill a wide brimmed up 1/3 full and hold it over your nose and mouth, breathe deeply and slowly. It's so calming.

Interesting. Do you breathe through your mouth or nose?

I've got covid atm and my throat is full of glass. Thanks for the tip.

For some reason when I saw the title of this thread, I thought it was going to be about this GrinBlush

Great tip. Nasal saline washes are good too. I thought this thread was going to be about ironing 😂

Nice slow deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth. Apparently breathing in through the nose will steam the larynx which if often the part that gets sore.

violetbunny 😄 no idea if vaginal steaming is good for anxiety! Might try that next!
