Hi all
I would love your honest opinions please.
Would you read a book where the main character was a woman of 65 who has recently started dating a man of 70 - who then catches the attention of a man in his 30s and pursues her?

Would the woman’s name happen to be Jocasta?
This plot sounds so very familiar…

I think there might be an interesting thing you could do where the older woman and the younger man are thrown together in some way and end up really hitting it off because they’re on the same wavelength, similar values etc.

And they’re both in relationships already so not looking for romance, but their friendship makes them question things in their life and they feel they couldn’t possibly have a fling because Of the age difference and it’s very .., wistful!

. I dunno.Grin

I think there would have to be an ulterior motive in there somewhere. A reason why he's going after her. Or a reason why she lets him. And what happens to the 70-year-old? Does he get bumped off, or does he do the bumping?

Ew no.

Why is he pursuing her? Is it real love or does he want her money or something else seedy? It's so unusual.... men go for younger women.
But if you want to write it, go for it. Would you be self publishing or looking for an agent?
