Tooth problem anyone?

A tooth at the top front of my mouth, appears to be a crown, has come out (I was only eating yoghurt), and my dentist can only see me in 6 weeks. Can anyone advise on whether this is likely to mean I won't be able to have the crown put back in? Is there anything I can do to improve things on my own? Should I find a new dentist who can see me earlier (if practicable)? Any help much appreciated. There is no tooth pain.

You need to see a dentist sooner.
Call your dentist back and tell them it's an emergency.
If they still can't see you can you afford to go private?

I would try to be seen sooner. Do they not reserve spaces every day for emergencies?

Most dentists do reserve spaces for emergencies. Emergencies are usually defined as swelling, uncontrollable bleeding or trauma. Just get some temporary crown cement from a chemist and stick it back in.
