DH has made a last minute plan to take 7 month old DD out to see his friend tomorrow afternoon. He'll be out for between three to four hours. This is the most time I'll have been at home alone since she was born and I am SO excited!
I'm trying to work out now how best to use the time so I don't sit there faffing on my phone or looking around thinking "Hmm...no baby...what do I do now?" and being indecisive.
I'm going to clean up in the morning so the house is nice and tidy for relaxing in later and I've got to do the food shopping so I can get some nice bits in that I can eat in peace, in my own time. I might buy cake
I'm currently thinking book, snacks, and tea in a teapot out in the garden. Maybe a film? I'd be able to watch from start to finish without stopping...
I'd love an afternoon bath but we have oil heating and are trying to make what we have left in the tank last as long as possible because the price of oil is extortionate at the moment so that's out.
What would you do with a few spare hours? I want to get it right!
